About

With over fifteen years of litigation experience, including numerous jury trials in courts all over the Bay Area, Leyla Pasic is an experienced trial attorney and advocate. Her practice focuses on business, employment, real estate, and sexual assault litigation. Ms. Pasic represents clients in all phases of litigation, including through trials and appeals.

When she is not trying cases, Ms. Pasic enjoys being involved in her East Bay local community and spending time with her husband, son, and daughter. She is also involved in her small but proud Bosnian & Herzegovinian community, with whom she shares the unique experience of immigration, hard work, and starting over.

REPRESENTATIVE MATTERS

Mejia v. Roussos Constr., Inc., 76 Cal. App. 5th 811 (2022). Tried in 2017; prevailed on appeal in 2022; and prevailed on retrial in 2023 on four wage and hour claims, alleging that employer misclassified workers as independent contractors, when in fact, under law, they were employees. Ms. Pasic won damages, plus penalties, plus pre-judgment and post-judgment interest, and attorneys fees.

ENA North Beach, Inc. v. 524 Union Street, No. CGC-15-547922 (S.F. Super. Ct. 2017). Prevailed at jury trial, proving that landlord induced our client, the tenant into a commercial lease through fraud and deceit. Ms. Pasic also prevailed on appeal in that matter. See ENA N. Beach, Inc. v. 524 Union St.,43 Cal. App. 5th 195 (2019).

Ampro Systems, Inc. v. Qian, Case No. H048523 (Cal. Ct. App. 2023). Won a $10m judgment in a Santa Clara Superior Court jury trial, proving that defendants engaged in broad and systemic embezzlement from their employer-company.
